In today's world it's a common thing to lose track of certain things and to forget certain events and tasks. That's why it's important to always carry an agenda with you, in which to store all the tasks, events and so on. But today's busy life makes a paper agenda obsolete. Computer software is a much better choice for organizing yourself. There are numerous programs on the market for organizing tasks, events, meetings and other related information, but most of them have too many options which are never used by an average user. These features only make the interface more difficult to use.

Fortunately, there are some applications which only offer the features required by most users for organizing their lives. One of these programs is WinReminders. This Windows application allows you to keep track of every kind of event, task, holiday and so on, using a very simple interface.

But that's not all that's simple, as the installation wizard can be completed with a few mouse clicks. After running the application, the user will notice the list of categories displayed on the left part of the interface. If the user doesn't find a suitable category for his task, he can add a new one easily. After selecting the desired category, one can add a new task to the program's database using the graphical buttons. For this, he should select the date when the task is due, the number of recurrences, details about the task and that's it. The number of tasks that can be added to the program's interface is unlimited and each will have a specific color, according to the time left until the task is due.

For making it easier to find a specific task, the program features a large calendar, allowing the user to list all the tasks for a specific day by simply selecting it on the calendar. Every event or task can be exported, for being used later on. Besides that, the complete list of tasks can also be saved as a backup file.
